You can call me Taketo. I am a therapist working in Tokyo, for women. Before this, I spent the better part of ten years moving through some eighty countries, and I came home to Tokyo because I wanted to do this work in a quieter way, in a city I understand.

What I offer is simple to describe and harder to put a price on. One hour, or ninety minutes, in a calm room. Touch is part of it, but it is not the heart of it. The heart of it is the room itself, the warmth, the silence, the permission to stop being someone for a while. Many of the women who come are tired in a way they cannot quite explain to the people closest to them, and I try to hold space for the kind of tiredness that has no name yet.

English and Japanese are both welcome here. You do not have to decide in advance which language you want to use, and you do not have to rehearse what to say. There is no version of yourself you need to bring. Come as you are, on the day you have, and the rest can happen in the room.
